The M1 Garand was the first semiautomatic rifle used by a military. The US Army started using the M1 in the 1930. It was standard during WW2. This rifle was eventually phased out in the late 1950’s by the M14. Versions of the M1 are also used as sniper rifles. This Engler Reproduction of the M1 Garand is as close as a paintball gun can get; Using real gun parts and a Tippmann X7 Phenom.
