Coil remote kits let you move your tank from your gun to your back. Instead of screwing your tank in to a bottom line adapter or other type of ASA fitting on your gun, you screw one end of the remote to your gun where your bottle was and your bottle connects to the other end. You can then carry your bottle in a pack on your back and the gas passes through the hose to your gun. They also usually have a quick disconnect system so you can easily and connect or disconnect your hose from the gun without removing your tank from your pack.
